Also, speaking to Tinybell after finding Maelie hasn't made any difference for me personally – it hasn't made the quest reset the next day. I would suggest either checking the script below or seeing if Maelie is standing next to Tinybell at Keeper's Respite - if the quest is "true" or Maelie is present at KR, she will not be visible even when other players have found her location for the day, because you won't be eligible for the quest.
